"Hayden Joseph Taylor has confessed to the murder of pregnant teenager Nicola Rankin. Public anger over the repeated granting of bail to violent offenders was further increased when it was revealed that he was on bail for other serious offences at the time he killed the 18 year old, and buried her in a shallow grave in the Riverhead forest near Auckland."
