Information from The New Zealand Paedophile and Sex Offender Index, New 2004 Edition
Found guilty of raping a 9 year old girl between December 1993 and December 1994 and again a year later. The girl was told not to tell anyone of the abuse. The Rotorua District Court was told by Rossiter's counsel, in mitigation at sentencing, that his offending was uncharacteristic and he had created several employment opportunities for others through his environmental-waste business.
