Three years of sexually abusing young girls has resulted in two and a half years jail for Pahuia Edward Ranga, 36, who admitted four counts of indecent assault to Christchurch District Court Judge David Holderness. The judge said he accepted that Ranga was genuinely remorseful, but said his culpability was high. Ranga's counsel, Rupert Glover, said Ranga admitted guilt early, and took full responsibility for the offending.
