Background
For the Court of Appeal, Justice Forrest Miller said Leef had been in relationships with the victims then aged 14 and 15 over several months which involved having sexual intercourse with them. Even when Leef knew the victims were both minors he sexually abused them. The sentence imposed in the Auckland District Court was upheld.
