Information from The New Zealand Paedophile and Sex Offender Index, New 2004 Edition
Found guilty in 1992 of indecently assaulting a 15 year old girl. Keepa had crept up behind her at a beach, straddled her upper body, blindfolded her and struck her heavily. The judge noted that in all but three of the past 14 years Keepa had been convicted "with alarming regularity" of indecent assaults or indecent acts. The Auckland High Court was told Keepa would continue to offend should he be presented with an opportunity.

In 2000 Keepa pleaded guilty in the Whangarei High Court to a charge of indecently assaulting a five year old girl whom he was looking after. He has previous convictions dating back to 1979 including five for indecent assault on females, two of whom were under 16, four for indecent assault on males and 10 for obscene exposure.
