Information from The New Zealand Paedophile and Sex Offender Index, New 2004 Edition
Pleaded guilty to one charge of rape, two charges of assaulting a female, two of breaking and entering and one of burglary with intent. The first offence occurred when Emery broke into the home of a 35 year old woman and her two children, all of whom were asleep. She screamed and he fled. Seven months later Emery entered a house occupied by a 27 year old woman and raped her. Only 15 days later Emery broke into the home where the 46 year old sole occupant was asleep. He covered her mouth, told her not to scream, said he wanted food and she cooked a meal for him before she left.
