Found guilty in the Wellington High Court. Davies broke into the house where the girl was babysitting her brother and sister. During the attack the girl whispered to her brother to call the police and seized a knife to threaten Davies. Davies had already been to prison for kidnapping a woman and assaulting her with intent to sexually violate her when he was 17.
