escalating violence in our community
Become a member of the
Sensible Sentencing Trust
(17th February 2009)
The facts are clear. A section of our community is out of control and violent crime is out of control, and knockers such as Kim Workman and Phil Goff are simply playing politics according to Police and Corrections Spokesman for the Sensible Sentencing Trust.
Alan Monk, a former police officer himself, said he could not understand why some people continued to support the status quo when I was patently obvious it had failed.
"Rather than knocking the idea just to play politics they should be putting viable solutions forward.”
"Youth offenders need to understand responsibility, accountability and consequences, a three month sentence under Army control will give them a good understanding of all three elements and can be nothing but positive."
"May it begin as soon as possible?"
