Call for Heads to roll following release of Police report into the Burton tragedy.
The Sensible Sentencing Trust says that the report released today by the Independent Police Conduct Authority shows that nothing has changed since William Bell went on a rampage in 2001 and murdered three innocent people.
Trust spokesman Garth McVicar said, "Heads should roll, this report exposes exactly how cheap life has become in our criminal-centred, offender-friendly legal process. Karl Kuchenbecker should still be alive, as should the victims of William Bell."
"The laws of this country have become so politically correct that the offenders have all the 'Rights' and civil liberties. Even the Police have become so immersed in this politically correct nonsense that innocent lives are being put at risk."
"The report is full of glaring failures and breakdowns between the Police and Corrections, but these failures were also pointed out in the Bell report and nothing has changed – and nothing will until those responsible for the failures are held accountable."
These are no isolated cases; time-bombs like Burton and Bell are being released far too frequently with horrific results.
"This category of offender – the Bells and Burtons of this world – has lost their rights to ever walk amongst a civilized society again."

Garth McVicar
