Victim Power Movement

Kevin McNeil, the outspoken son of Lois Dear is calling on victims to unite and form a victim power movement.

Kevin says it is plain to see victims are survivors and our so-called political leaders show a continued complete lack of respect toward their plight and the care of all New Zealanders that want a safer place to live.

"Heads need to roll over the Aaliyah Morrissey, Natasha Hayden debacle, mind you its just one sorry debacle after another!"

"We have had to put up with the excuses from the Parole Board and Corrections Department, with the government continuing to replace Corrections ministers as if they are going out of fashion. It seems the responsibility is too much for them also."

Kevin says he is calling for victims to form together and rebel against an unfeeling, uncaring self-righteous government system.

"I’m no rocket scientist but I do have respect for our country but not the outlandish louts that our system continues to release onto our streets and onto the unsuspecting public."

"I believe it is time for the victims and their families to band together against paroled louts, so they are too scared to leave their hidey-holes."

Kevin is also urging Local government to take more responsibility within the communities they represent.

Violence is rampant in our communities, I want Local government to help sponsor a radio campaign to denounce violence and encourage people to take back their streets.

"We all need to be heard loud and clear, VICTIM POWER needs to start now!!"

Kevin says he is available to back anyone with the care and tenacity to try and help others that want to make our country a safer place.

"It is time for a Victim Power movement to begin, we need to reclaim our streets and reclaim our country."
