The Human Rights Tribunal recent payment of $1200 to a convicted murderer is confirmation that the Human Rights / Civil liberties movement has gone stark raving bonkers according to the Sensible Sentencing Trust.
The Trust national spokesman was commenting on the Tribunal's recent decision to award damages to convicted murderer Andrew Ronald MacMillan for "injury to his feelings, loss of dignity and humiliation".
"We have seen the signs of advanced dementia for some time now, but this confirms our worst fears, they are absolutely off this planet." said Mr McVicar.
The Human Rights movement was established to protect the rights of law abiding citizens. It is sad to see the slow and painful self destruction of this once great ideal.
Mr McVicar said the continual erosion of common sense and moral decency in New Zealand can only earn this ethically bankrupt group the new title of "Human Blights Tribunal".

Garth McVicar
