92% of the voters at the last election gave the Government a clear mandate to get tough on Law and Order.
"The Sentencing and Parole Reform Bill" that is Mr Goff's response and answer to the referendum does not get tough on crime said Garth McVicar of Sensible Sentencing.
The proposed legislation that passed it's second reading in Parliament yesterday totally ignores the momentum that is building throughout New Zealand.
The Bill DOES NOT
Violent Crime is now at record levels and will continue to escalate under this weak legislation
New Zealand needs mandatory "Whole of Life" for our most violent offenders.
The apprentices of Crime must be sent a very clear signal
