We had two Marches prior to the 2002 election, one on the 10th of July 2002 in Auckland, and another on Parliament in Wellington on the 17th. We had about 1000-1100 people in Auckland, but only 4-500 in Wellington, as it was very cold and wet. However it was very successful in that we laid out 1200 crosses on the steps of Parliament representing the last 10 years' homicide victims. This made a powerful visual statement. The pictures below are from the Wellington March, we are interested in hearing from anyone who took pictures at Auckland or any of the meetings.

We set up three wheelie bins with placards, here with our other banner in front, this is at the beginning of the March outside the Civic Centre. The photo has not come out particularly well as it was dark and a disposable camera was used.
