My Dog has better Morals

As the Sensible Sentencing battle rages and the political debate hots up it may be appropriate to look at who actually is responsible for the level of crime in our community.

It is an undisputed fact that New Zealand now has a huge reservoir of apprentice criminals simply being recycled through the revolving doors of our criminal justice system on a daily basis.

How did a country that was once in the top echelon of the so called wealthier nations and boasted one of the highest living standards in the western world slide to a level that is now allowing our children to become sexual playthings for adults?

My dog has better morals and social standards than these low lives convicted of abusing our children!

Kevin Moana Jarden is a 58 year old convicted sex offender..... with a 40 year history..... he was released on parole - again - in 1999 and placed with a family with young children.

The Community Probation Service neglected to tell the family of his history.

Jarden was recently convicted of "repeatedly raping, sodomising and sexually molesting their young daughter - and two other girls - aged between 4 and 8.

The mother has said, "I didn't know of his previous convictions, I didn't know how paedophiles work. It is only now I realise how these sick b*******s work, how they manipulate and groom their victims".

The officer in charge said the girls are having nightmares - and counselling - and are having problems dealing with male members of their own families, their innocence destroyed.

Jardens defence counsel said the fact that the girls had not given evidence about the stud through the top of Jardens penis… indicated that the offending must have been at the lower end of the scale……………….

Remember the dog legislation?

Apparently it is okay for Human mongrels to sexually abuse and mutilate our children but as soon as a dog bites a child government introduces urgent legislation to shoot the dog!!!

The safety of the community is obviously not government's responsibility; they ignored the 92% of voters who supported a reform of the Justice system and harsher penalties for violent crime.

New Zealand has now become one of the most violent countries in the western world with our child abuse, drug abuse and domestic violence statistics making worldwide headlines.

So who is responsible?

The Sensible Sentencing Trust believes there is only one direction to point the finger, Government, both past and present governments must accept responsibility. But with our vote you and I have given our blessing.
