Each charged represented several incidents because Rose's offending was too great to "catalogue", Crown counsel said. Rose had acted as a babysitter for the children. The Napier High Court was told Rose groomed the children to the point where they thought it was common and appropriate to have sex with each other. The court was told the damage done to the two children was immeasurable.
