Background
NZ Herald story here
From Christchurch Press story 2nd September 1997
A man who admitted yesterday that he killed three Auckland sex workers told police he had a second personality called "Hell" that drove him to commit the murders. In the High Court in Auckland yesterday Hayden Tyrone Poulter, 35, changed his plea to guilty on three charges of murder, one of sexual violation, one of attempted murder, and possessing an offensive weapon. He admitted murdering and raping prostitute Natacha Hogan, 21, in Karangahape Road last October 19, and stabbing sex worker Ladda Nimphet, and her boss, Herbert Richard Norris, to death a week later in a Fort Street massage parlour. He also admitted trying to kill sex worker Angkana Chaisamret the same night.
