A woman has been charged with being party to a murder of a Palmerston North man in September 2009. Jamie Martin Faulkner, 32, was shot dead at a Heretaunga St property on September 4, 2009. In June 2010, James Mills, 30, pleaded guilty to Mr Faulkner's murder. He is currently serving a life sentence. Ongoing investigations into the murder have resulted in a 37-year-old Palmerston North woman being charged with being party to murder today. She will appear in Palmerston North District Court tomorrow. Police would not comment on the arrest as it was now before the courts.
