A man convicted of the murder of a Wanganui bottle store manager was yesterday
sentenced to life imprisonment. Michael Anthony Manihera (22) was convicted in
the High Court at Wanganui of the murder of Ian Comrie, the 60-year-old
Castlecliff Hotel bottle store manager who was stabbed to death at the store
last May. He was further convicted on two counts of aggravated robbery.
