Background
From NZ Herald story 20th October 1997
Three young Auckland men have been found guilty of murdering Isaac Herbert, who was pushed and kicked to death when they robbed him outside his Glen Innes flat in July last year.
A jury in the High Court at Auckland returned guilty verdicts on all three men, Filimaia Sililoto, aged 17, Andrew Luatua, 19, and Kevin Kea Lauvao, 22, after deliberating for about four hours on Friday and Saturday. The three were all from Glen Innes and unemployed. During the week-long trail the Auckland crown solicitor, Simon Moore, called the men cowards and bullies who thought they could get away with anything in Glen Innes.
