An elderly Nelson man has admitted indecently assaulting a nine- year-old boy and sexually violating an eight-year-old girl, but has been allowed to remain in the community until his next court appearance. The 76-year-old retired man admitted two charges of indecent assault and a charge of sexual violation when he appeared in Nelson District Court yesterday . He was granted interim name suppression. Police prosecutor Sergeant Wayne Johnston said the boy and his two younger sisters regularly visited the man and his wife, often going to their home after school to do homework or play video games
