The victim was a woman who lived in Wainuiomata with her boyfriend and three children. She was woken in the early hours by her son crying. Habib was discovered in the house. He threatened to kill her and her boyfriend with a knife. He tied up her boyfriend and locked him and her five year old son in the bedroom wardrobe. He then raped the woman four times while her son and boyfriend were forced to listen. He demanded further indecencies, but she retaliated.
