From the Waikato Times and other sources
Edwards and an associate burst into a rural Hamilton property with a loaded shotgun. Both men repeatedly raped and sexually assaulted a female occupant and she was forced to have oral sex with one of the offenders. A male occupant and his 12 year old son were tied and gagged. The offenders also robbed both the female victim and male victim of money.
