Appeared completely remorseless in police interviews according to reports in the Herald. No previous convictions - but given the obstacles that are placed in the way of convicting violent criminals under our current system it is quite possible that he has offended previously but not been caught....

Court of Appeal decision here Has since been charged with the murder of inmate and Black Power member Sonny John Keremete while in prison, but was acquitted as it was clearly self defence.
