A man who pleaded guilty to the rape and manslaughter of a woman at a party the prime minister's son had attended was today jailed for at least ten-and-a-half years.
Gerald Jon Adamson, 20, was sentenced in the NSW Supreme Court after admitting to two charges of aggravated sexual assault without consent and to the manslaughter of 21-year-old university student Lisa King in October 1999.
Adamson has received one of the toughest sentences for manslaughter in New South Wales.
